Requirements
• Specialist in gastroenterology
• Independent endoscopist with regard to gastro- and colonoscopy
• Specialist in internal medicine is meritorious.
• Must be able to handle patients with general internal medicine diseases
• Must be able to participate in on-call activities within internal medicine
• Social competence and cooperation skills
• B driver's license is required.
About the workplace
The gastroenterological care provided in this smaller hospital has endoscopy examinations and gastrointestinal surgery with a focus on inflammatory bowel disease and medical liver diseases. At the reception there is the possibility of endoscopy and ultrasound for abdominal ultrasound and elastography.?The gastroenterology section is part of the Medical Clinic, which is responsible for care places within and on-call operations within internal medicine at the hospital, therefore a specialisation within Internal medicine is a merit.
Conditions of employment
Region Värmland applies individual wage setting.
The starting salary for a specialist in internal medicine and gastroenterology in 2023 is SEK 67,000 a month in Region Värmland (immediately after specialist training without experience).
