We are currently seeking a Consultant in Palliative Medicine eager for a career move. As a Consultant in Palliative Medicine, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for patients facing life-limiting illnesses. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive palliative care services, ensuring that patients and their families receive the support they need during challenging times.
Responsibilities:
Provide expert palliative care services to patients with life-limiting illnesses.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans.
Conduct regular assessments and communicate effectively with patients and their families.
Contribute to education and training programs for medical staff, students, and healthcare professionals.
Engage in research initiatives to advance palliative care knowledge and practices.
Qualifications:
Specialist registration with the Irish Medical Council.
Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians or equivalent qualification.
Significant experience as a Consultant in Palliative Medicine.
Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Benefits:
