Duties:
The management of organic and functional disorders in Older People.
To undertake both emergency and routine community assessments, including Mental Health Act assessments
Provision of comprehensive psychiatric care through evaluation, diagnosis and use of appropriate treatment plans/strategies
Liaising with other doctors, wards, and outside agencies, as may be appropriate, especially with regard to continuity of patient care
To clerk new admissions and complete a thorough history and examination, including physical examination and risk assessment to be documented in patient's notes.

Person Specification:
MBBS / MBChB or equivalent
full / part MRCPsych or PLAB 1&2
Minimum 3 years full time post graduate experience
Minimum of 12 months of continuous experience in Psychiatry
GMC registration (or eligible to secure GMC registration)
Efficiency in Teamwork and equally good communication skills
