Duties:
Diagnosis and management of older patients presenting to the Trust with a wide range of
conditions.
Continuing responsibility for the care of patients in liaison with Consultant colleagues.
Falls and frailty outpatient clinics.
The postholder will be responsible for the clinical management of patients under their care
and in liaison with consultant colleagues, continuity of care when the postholder is absent
Teaching, supervision and development of Junior doctors in the Department, medical students and non-medical staff as appropriate
Contribute to audits and ongoing research activity


Person Specification:
MBBS / MBChB or equivalent
MRCP / FRCP or equivalent
Minimum 7 years full time post graduate experience
Minimum of 2 years of continuous experience in Geriatrics
Consultant level experience
Full GMC registration (or eligible to secure Full GMC registration)
Good Leadership and Management skills
Efficiency in Teamwork and superior communication skills
